John the Baptist
John is identified as the disciple whom Jesus loved.
John was probably the last surviving apostle.
John was the son of Zebedee and Salome.
John was a fisherman before he became a disciple.
Example of what John did in the bible that was special……….
God had set John a special mission. He was to preach about Repentance and baptise people in water. He was also to preach about the kingdom of God and prepare people that the Messiah are coming. People came to him from near and far. They confessed their sins, and he baptised them in the Jordan river.
